Import a car from Japan
to Malaysia
We bid for you inside Japan's dealer-only auctions, or price a one-price listing you found yourself. Every cost itemised before you commit.
Why we buy in Japan
Japan's own rules push good cars onto the market young, keep them lightly used, and grade every one before it sells.
01
Sold young by design
Ownership costs in Japan are built to rise with age, so good cars reach the market early.
From year three every car faces the shaken inspection every two years, typically 100,000 to 200,000 yen a time, and road tax climbs after year thirteen. Owners trade up while the car is still young, and those cars land inside Malaysia's under-five-year import window.
02
Kept like new
Japanese cars cover about half the distance of cars in comparable markets.
Trains carry the daily commute, so a private car covers roughly 7,000 to 10,000 km a year and sleeps in a registered parking space. An annual check is required by law, and the dealer-stamped record book travels with the car to Malaysia.
03
Graded before you bid
Independent inspectors grade every auction car before bidding opens.
The inspector answers to the auction house, not the seller, so the grade is one the seller cannot influence. We generally bid on grade 4 and higher, and your advisor reads the full report with you before any bid goes in.
04
The auction sheet tells all
Accidents, resprays and cabin wear are recorded before the car is ever sold.
The sheet maps every panel, flags accident history and verifies the odometer, and because we buy directly at auction you see the original. Your advisor translates it line by line, and one-price cars get an independent inspection before we quote.

The calculator is public and it does the same arithmetic your advisor does. Six fields off a listing and the landed cost for Malaysia comes back itemised, in about 30 seconds.
None of it is compulsory. If the fields look like work, an advisor runs the same calculation on any car you send and comes back with the itemised total.

01
Pick the mode
It opens on Bidding, which is the one for an auction lot. If the car is listed at one price, take the second tab instead.
-
02
Copy six fields
Maker, model and vehicle type, the price in yen, the registration month and year. Every one of them is on the listing or lot in front of you.

Questions about importing from Japan
Straight answers on cost, timing, eligibility and condition.
Duty, excise and SST are the biggest lines and they depend on the car's age, engine size and value. The calculator shows the cost price for your exact car in about 30 seconds, and your quotation itemises every line.
Most cars land in 8 to 12 weeks of the winning bid. That covers shipping, customs clearance, AP approval, Puspakom inspection and JPJ registration, with WhatsApp updates at every milestone.
Legally yes, but a single car still needs its own AP permit, auction access and clearance agent. Our service bundles all three into one itemised quotation, which usually costs less than assembling them alone.
Used cars generally need to be under five years old to qualify for an AP permit, and some categories carry extra conditions. Send us the model you want and your advisor confirms eligibility before anything else.
Every auction car carries an independent grade and a full auction sheet covering accidents, paint and cabin wear. We generally source grade 4 and higher, and your advisor translates the sheet before you bid.
Auction bidding suits rare specs and the sharpest prices; one-price stock suits fixed pricing and browsing at your own pace. Most buyers ask their advisor to run both against the same brief and compare.
We handle clearance, inspection and registration, and every car is bought against its verified auction sheet. If a covered fault was undisclosed, we file the claim with the auction house on your behalf.
